Get ready for a jam-packed Summer Concert Series at Ruidoso Downs Race Track & Casino. The Summer Concert Series coincides with the 46-day race meet that begains Memorial Day weekend and runs through Labor Day.
The Roswell-based production company, Liberty Inc., in partnership with Ruidoso Downs will produce six of the acts in the series. The shows will be held inside the Events Center located just outside Billy The Kid Casino.

Known for hit songs including, “Spill the Wine,” “The World is a Ghetto,” and “Why Cant We Be Friends?,” WAR is a musical crossover band that fuses elements of rock, fun, jazz, latin, R&B and reggae. Formed in 1969, the band transcended racial and cultural barriers with a multi-ethnic lineup that still resonates upon the hearts of many.
