Reason for Recall
During routine checks, we identified potential microbiological contamination, including possible mold growth, in this batch. Additionally, the product was inadvertently mislabeled as “San Souci” instead of its correct strain, “Purple Onyx.”
While the batch passed all required testing under the original strain, this labeling error has rendered the product non-compliant with regulatory standards.
What You Need to Do
If you purchased this product, please take the following actions:
- Do not consume the product.
- Return the product to any of our locations for proper disposal.
- Alternatively, you may destroy the product safely and responsibly.
To assist you in identifying the affected product, attached is a list of barcodes associated with this recall and the original Certificate of Analysis for the “Purple Onyx” strain.
